#284; best regards from washington

I like the stars; it’s the illusion of permanence. I can pretend that things last; that lives last longer than moments. – Neil Gaiman

photo from | http://www.cpexecutive.comI’ve been in Washington, DC since this past weekend, visiting with old friends and sleeping on couches. It’s hard to admit, but I’m feeling more and more that the phrase “you can never go home again” has finally applied to the move I made three years ago. I still love DC, all the wonderful work here and all the amazing friends and family I still count among Petworth, Dupont, and American University, but my home has moved on as I have. I think maybe that’s okay, too.
